ive watched FERRIS BUELLERS DAY OFF about 5 times today alone(: BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!

hey haven't written for a while :/
well i need knee surgery because i tore my ACL playing soccer so i can't do cross country or soccer this year i can still go do track but i'm still bummed
/THEN idk about my crush because my plan was just to admire him from afar and stay friends because he's a good friend to me and i dont want to ruin thaat with him finding out i like him...ANYWAY now all of a sudden hes texting me NOTHING FLIRTY mind you but i really enjoy talking to him hes funny hes sweet hes not fake hes a christian he plays sports he plays guitar he speaks spanish and he's not a player he hasnt even had a girl! Hes perfect but i dont want to get my hopes up about him but, you know. Hes as dedicated as i am to school so i know he wouldn't want to distract me. My friend is convinced hes going to ask me to prom and formal...I DUNNO! sorry i know no one reads this so idk why i even bothjer writing this :p

So lately ive been only shopping at thrift stores. Theyr'e so great because you can find cheap cute things that you can make your own. You can find things that were in style a while back and is fashionable again. A lot of my friends always ask me how I come back with bags and BAGS of stuff so heres a tip(:
 
1. FIND A STORE
finding a store can be hard because not all of them have good stuff you kinda have to shop around. Or go on google and look at reviews from other people.
 
2. HAVE A GAME PLAN
okay what i mean by this is you have to know what your'e going to go shop for. Of course your'e not ALWAYS going to find great designer jeans that fit you perfect. but you might find an old vintage cardigan. Look on polyvore and tumblr there's great outfit ideas there
 
3. DON"T BE SCARED
I know thrift stores may be overwhelming. nothings sorted out and theres SO MUCH stuff...BUT you can't give up right off the bat.
 
4. GET CREATIVE
This is the place to find some random item and play around wiith it. Think of creative ways to wear something. I go and buy a bunch of "mom jeans" the high waisted ones...and even though i hate the bellbottom legs i cut them into REALLY cute high waisted shorts(:
or even with tshirts you can cut those into tanks. You get what I mean(:
 
5.WHAT NOT TO BUY
this is kinda obvious but im going to say it anyways because ive seen this mistake being made all too often. You have to check your items you don't want to spend 8 dollars on a cute shirt that has arpmit stains or jeans that are all dirty.
 
CARRY CASH!
ive never seen a thrift store that accepts cards so make sure you bring lots of cash...your'e gonna need it :D
